Span America PressureGuard Custom Care Mattress

• Non-powered reactive pressure redistribution surface
• Recommended for use in prevention and treatment of stage I and II pressure ulcers, and treatment of uncomplicated Stage III and IV ulcers with multiple turning surfaces
• Custom Care’s unique Metered Immersion design reacts to changes in surface loading through a series of interconnected longitudinal support chambers. As the user moves or repositions on the surface, the chambers below react – deflecting, transferring air, and venting according to the weight and positioning. The result is a blend of pressure management, shear reduction, comfort and ease of operation
• Bi-directional stretch cover helps to ‘glide’ the user to original position after gatching
• Anti-microbial, fluid impervious cover that is easy to clean
• Flame resistant, tear resistant
• Geo-Matt surface geometry is multi zoned and designed to minimise shearing. More than 800 individually articulating cells help to dissipate heat and moisture through “Ring-of-Air” channels
• Ultra high performance foam adds comfort and durability in the seat section. Provides superior resiliency in high fatigue gatch/transfer area
• Safety edge bolster design provides a two piece stable, supportive perimeter
