When to use the Torkel Toilet paper Tongs?

The toilet aid can be used while on the toilet or when showering to wash, wipe or dry the bottom or for other intimate hygiene routines. The functional design makes the tongs easy to hold without the need to bend over. This helps minimise the risk of falls and provides independence to people who might otherwise need help when on the toilet.

How to use the Torkel Toilet paper Tongs?

The Torkel Toilet Paper Tongs is an easy to use bathroom device. Simply squeeze the handle of the toilet aid to open the tongs, thread the toilet paper through, release the handle so tongs close, and roll the toilet paper around the tongs. The handle shape allows most persons with minimal grasp to insert their fingers into the loop. The toilet tissue is held tightly and released easily when the handle is squeezed.

Who benefits from the Torkel Toilet paper Tongs?

The shape of the open-loop handle allows people with arthritic hands and minimal grip to easily grasp the handle. The spring-clip holds the toilet tissue and easily opens by squeezing the handle. People with arthritis who have difficulty with self toileting will find this tool helpful. It is also an ideal assistive device for bariatric users to improve their quality of life. No need to struggle to reach anymore!
