What is a Wheelchair Ramp?

The Wheelchair Ramp from Aidapt is a practical solution for door thresholds, entryways, doorways, bumps or paths to enable wheelchair accessibility. The ramp is extremely effective for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, rollators or walkers. It can also be used as walk-up ramps to prevent tripping and falling hazards on steps.

The Wheelchair Access Ramp may be used either one by itself or with a second one to allow entry and exit. The ramp is lightweight enough to be carried to and from the door whenever necessary and can be installed in just minutes!

Who can use the Wheelchair Ramp?

For individuals in a wheelchair, scooter, or other wheeled mobility aid, accessing a low step or entering a doorway that is slightly raised can prove difficult if not impossible. With the rubber Wheelchair Ramp, access is much easier by providing a slightly angled and gripped surface for ascending and descending a step, ridge, or doorway.

The threshold ramp is also great for any warehouse or industrial location where heavy or cumbersome trolleys are wheeled around the building. Even a slight ridge in a doorway can render movement of a sizeable trolley difficult, and this can also be dangerous if the contents of the trolley is fragile or not steadily balanced. By using the Wheelchair Ramp, manoeuvering industrial goods from one room to another can be both safer and easier.

Where can you use the Rubber Access Ramp?

The ramp is suitable for outdoors and indoors. It can be installed easily and attached to any surface: wood, tile, marble, asphalt or concrete. They are a safe help for use in roll-in showers or bathrooms as their ridged surface makes them slip-resistant and safe even when wet.

The Rubber Threshold Ramp may be used either one by itself or with a second one to allow entry and exit. This will allow it to be moved to a different room in the house, or taken with you to a new home.

Sustainable ramp

The ramp is an environmentally friendly product manufactured from 100% recycled rubber and is both durable and waterproof. This makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. It can also be used in wet rooms or around showers, both increasing accessibility and reducing the risks of slipping where the flooring is made from naturally slippery material. It is maintenance-free.

The ramp is an environmentally sustainable product manufactured from 100% recycled rubber and has been tested for maximum slip resistance and generous weight capacity.
